Find Your Size

1, Measure boots internal length or feet length

Please note that this is a general guideline that works for most people, but it does not guarantee a perfect fit in every case.

2, How To Measure Feet Length

Step 1: Stand with your heel against a wall and a piece of paper taped on the floor under your foot.

Step 2: Mark the tip of your longest toe on the paper. Repeat for both feet.

Step 3: Measure the distance from the heel edge of the paper to your toe mark with a ruler. Record both feet's measurements.

Note: When choosing shoes, select the size with an internal length 0.2-0.4 inches/0.5-1cm longer than your larger foot measurement.

3, When selecting half sizes:

For a snug fit, we recommend sizing down by a half size.
For a roomier fit, consider sizing up by a half size.

Example:
If you wear US 10.5 in sneakers:

  • Choose our 43 for a snug fit

  • Choose our 44 for a relaxed fit

Great Quality, Great Team, Not-So Great Fit.

I'm a little conflicted on these boots, so I'll start with the good. The Contruction and finishing are excellent from the welt to the stitching. Their domestic leather is also high quality with a good hand feel and seem like it would develop a good patina. They feature leather insoles, and the vamp is leather lined. You do get a lot of boot for the money. When standing, the boots feel comfortable while having good arch support. While walking, they have great shock absorption. Customer service is also great, and my questions were answered quickly. Overall, a pleasant experience. So, here's the negative. they don't fit me as I think they should. I followed the sizing guide and came to a size 44 (10.5D, almost C on a brannock). The length feels correct and the arch, heel, and ball sit in the right spot. But there is also a lot of space around the arch, instep, and heel, resulting in a loose fit that feels more like sandals than boots when walking. I feel like the pattern and last do not match and should be tighter around the instep, arch, and heel. To their credit, they did recommend a size 43 at first, then a 44 after a few emails, so maybe I should have gotten the 43 at the risk of them being too short. But I'm not sure that would ultimately help with the overall fit. Do I recommend them, sure, with the caveat that you have wide feet with a high instep. Am I discouraged from trying their other boots? No, after seeing how high quality they are, I'm just more aware of the sizing. Maybe they have a last better suited for me. Who knows?

Nice boots, very hefty and sturdy feeling.

Sizing was perfect per recommendation of customer service team.

Leather feels good.
Fit is good, slight heel slip but with leather break in and an insole it's not a problem.

Looks svelte and L***ren-esque from the front and sides for half the price.

Soft unstructured toe.

Cant wait for it to mold to my feet.

Just buy them already!

Crush on Retro's engineers seem to be the best kept secret in the boot world. Looking to buy my first pair of engineer boots, I was taking forever weighing the pros and cons of different boot makers and feeling defeated by the 12-, 18, or even 24-month production times on some of them. Then somehow I found Crush on Retro (I think I saw an engineer boot review on YouTube that had a pair of their engineers in a lineup.) and I'm so glad I did. These boots are just as handsome as any Wesco, Lofgren, Nick's, or whoever, I've seen AND they're a fraction of the price. I was skeptical at first since I'd never heard of this brand and how could a quality boot be this inexpensive? But I did some more digging on YouTube and Reddit and saw a number of people raving about the value for money. So, I pulled the trigger--at around 300 bucks, there wasn't a super huge financial risk involved. Really glad I did. And now that I have them in my possession, I still can't believe how great of a deal they are--great looking, great construction, and not to mention great customer service (Jimmy kept me updated through the whole process, which was only about 2 weeks).
