The Navigator pays homage to a distinct breed of early aviators: the aerial navigators of the 1920s and 30s. While the barnstormers captured the public’s imagination with daring stunts, it was the navigator who mastered the elements—charting unseen routes across vast landscapes, relying on instinct, endurance, and uncompromising gear. In an era before sophisticated instrumentation, these men wore heavy, structural outerwear built to withstand open cockpits and unpredictable weather.

The Navigator is a direct interpretation of that functionality, translating the era’s spirit of calculated risk and rugged independence into a double-breasted horsehide coat designed for the modern road.

Features & Construction

  • 1.3mm Teacore Horsehide: Full-grain horsehide with a teacore finish. The black top coat gradually wears to reveal the warm brown core beneath—a natural aging process that tells the story of every journey.

  • Double Breasted with Notch Lapel: A double-breasted front offers substantial wind protection, while the notch lapel keeps the silhouette clean and classic.

  • Functional Pockets: Two chest gusset pockets for quick access, plus two large flap pockets at the waist for secure storage.

  • Adjustable Waist Belt: Cinch the belt for a customized fit, providing both thermal efficiency and a tailored silhouette.
