Took a chance on crushonretro after initially being advertised on Instagram, then looking into some reddit posts discussing past customer's purchases. Ordered my size, and shortly after was contacted by customer service to confirm specifications (as well as the type of sole I wanted based on their three offerings). All throughout, customer service was incredibly timely and professional.

Boots arrived today (after shipping out a few days after my order). They look immaculate and are comfortable out of the box. Super thrilled this worked out, and props to not only the incredible craftsmen but to the customer service as well.

Will definitely be a returning customer.

I received the 501 CFS boots just yesterday and have worn them for two days. The fit is good but I’ve learned to give new boots a few weeks to be sure. The leather is amazing and I imagine these boots will develop a nice patina in a short time. The quality is very good, especially considering the price; a bit better than the 901. I’m a solid Brannock 10D and ordered 42. These grip the tops of my feet well, give a secure pop when my heels slip past the counter but have the slightest heel slip. For comparison, my 901s are a 43 and much too big because they are wider in the toe box. These are a much slimmer boot. Very nice boots here!

Received the CF Stead logger boots today and once again the quality and the fit are just fine. Nice rugged leather which smells very nice. See the pictures to get a better impression of what these boots really look like.

Sizing was perfect per recommendation of customer service team.

Fit is good, slight heel slip but with leather break in and an insole it's not a problem.

Looks svelte and L***ren-esque from the front and sides for half the price.

Soft unstructured toe.

These are great engineers. I have the 501 in brown and now in black too. These are really the best deal on engineers out there. I went with the standard black tea core and it reminds me of black CXL.

I have worn the jacket for over a week and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Heavy, thick leather, and very well made overall. Exactly as advertised. I would buy from this company again in the future. 6'0'' 170 lbs size XL fits a tad big but it's very close to perfect so I'm not sure I'd have preferred a large. I'd say the recommendations provided by the staff are pretty spot on.

I received my shearling jacket today. A little bigger than I’d like but I’ll know for next time I order. It’s getting hotter in Texas so I’ll wait for the winter season. Thank you. The jacket was just as pictured. Good company selling high quality jackets at an affordable price.

I just received these this morning and wore them all day and found them to be a good fit and very comfortable. The insole length is right at 11 inches which is exactly what is specified for a size 43. If anything, they seem to be a bit wide, like an E or EE rather than a D width, but a thin insole will take care of that. The quality is at least as good as any RedWing boot I have and I would say a bit better. 360 degree welt and the gemming is stitched to the leather insole so it won’t come loose like RedWings tend to do. This will definitely not be my last pair from COR!

Without a doubt the best value in engineer boots. Worth twice as much as they’re asking for them. Basically J*hn L*fgr*n type boots for a third of the price.

I just got these boots since I have been searching for this style for a good price and am very happy with how these turned out! I was skeptical at first but when they came I couldn’t have been happier, They are my new daily boots and I couldn’t recommend them more!

Was looking to try out a leather jacket and based on previous reviews I thought this would be a good entry point rather than scouring for something used. I’m pretty impressed overall. It’s a thinner horse hide so doesn’t feel too restrictive and the measurements on the site were accurate. Overall I’m happy with the purchase. Good value for the money.

Excellent clicking, stitching, finishing, and fit. The CFS leather is beautiful, probably the most pull up of any leather I’ve seen. I’d rank these easily among some of the Japanese brands that cost 2x as much. Thanks COR, I’m super pleased!

These wonderfully handmade 601's are just marvelous. The leather smells so nice and is of such high quality. Thick soles. Leather footbed, double stiched goodyear welt. The highest quality for a mind blowing price. Crush on Retro is the best. They are fast. Their communication is top notch. Their customer service is next level. Shall I go on? Very very happy with these awesome engineer boots.

My second pair from these guys. Well I must say they are really nice. Jim allowed me to customise so this pair. I changed the leather to Colour 8 CXL and one the lottery on that . The stitching is excellent including the hand sewn stitch down I upgraded to. So impressed I immediately ordered another custom pair.
